I'm still in the process of adding books to the library and will continue to do so until I've completed my library (the books that are Public Domain at least). I've added an online flip book feature which will allows you to read the books online. The conversion process does increase the size of the file, but if you have a fast Internet connection, it should be possible to read online. Otherwise, just download the PDF file.
I'm also thinking of creating CD's and DVD of each section of the library for those who don't have the connection speed to download them. They will range in price from $5 to $10 depending on the number of books and type of disc used -- this should be enough to cover my costs. If you are interested, (once I get the Library complete) just email me and I'll get a disc off to you. I would also be willing to make a custom disc, if you want to pick and choose the books you want.
I'm still spending a lot of time making my Motor Home livable, so adding the books will contine in the evening after working on the MH during the day.
If you have any questions or requests - please send me an email.

I'm still in the process of getting the layout correct (any comments welcome) but I should be entering the books I have ASAP. Most of these books are in public domain, which means that you are free to use as you wish - just keep the information about the people who digitized these book, if there is any. Many of these books are of real life items, but with a little imagination and some scale conversions they can be easily used for our miniature and scale hobbies. If you have, find or know of a book that should be added - please send me a link and I'll add it here - If you've created a book, or a plan, and would like to share it here, I would also welcome that. The Internet is filled with thousands of books, plans, and other information about all of our hobbies. This information, I feel could be centralized here to make it easer to find when needed. Many of these books and plans are free or public domain and can easily be stored here, where anyone looking for spacific information can find them. For private articles, as long as we obtain permission from the authors, agreeing to include a link back to their sites, I believe most would be willing to share their information here. I'm not sure exactly how this Library will be set up - but I'm hoping the search function will be able to find just about anything this site holds. I like furniture, and using this resource provides me with hundreds of books to peruse and find what I would like to build next. I've also found many books that include house plans, bridge plans, and many other books that would interest any miniature or scale creator. It is also a great place to find music, movies and a whole lot more. If you're looking for something that can be stored digitally - Check out Internet Archives. I have written and had published some 300+ DIY articles and I like to think that my work has influenced and been an inspiration to many. I generally use inexpensive or found items and materials that should be available in just about any local or online, and often just in your “junk-drawer”. Paper, in all of its forms, is my forte but you may choose, in many instances, to substitute other materials, making any necessary adjustments. I use simple, but quality hand tools and always keep the blades of my scissors and knives sharp. Generally the only powered tools I use are Dremel Motto Tools and a variable speed drill…oh, and a heat gun (I can’t wait for the paint to dry). I hope that my projects will inspire you to create miniatures of your own designs. My work is for your enjoyment only, please do not use for personal profit. If you have a question, suggestion or special request please feel free to contact me. diydollhouseminiatures@gmail.com. Joann's first tutorial is:THE CONSUMMATE BIBLIOPHILE“Too many good books and not enough time to read them all” is what inspired this wicked little Halloween vignette.

The nice thing about this package is it allows you to create a venue for your shows, which allows you to tell us about the place where you're having your show. The venues can also be shared by others, which will save time -- always check to see it the venue is already created - use the search function when the venue window appears -- If it isn't there, just create it. Set the dates for the show - and choose a category(s) where you want your show to appear. If you hold the ctrl key down while choosing categories, you can choose more than one! If you know of a show that isn't in the list - feel free to add it or contact the promoter to add their shows. Good Luck and have fun! Last Updated (DATE_FORMAT_LC2) BACK |

I've added a new feature to ZMSC. Registered users can now list their shows and expos by simply filling in the form. I've found the best way to use the description section is to copy and paste a previously created page. This way the layout is usually preserved.
